Theobald.Extractors.Table.TheoReadTableException: Waiting for package to be written to shared memory has timed out.

Issue

The data extraction of an SAP table or view as a background job throws the following error.

Theobald.Extractors.Table.TheoReadTableException: Waiting for package to be written to shared memory has timed out.

The analysis of this error requires several log information from the involved systems, see the following list:

1. Extraction log of the failed extraction in the corresponding Xtract product.

2. Job log of the extraction in SAP using transaction SM37 and the job name THEO_READ_TABLE (2) (3).

3. Detail view of the corresponding short dump in SAP using transaction ST22 (4).

After the analysis of the error by a colleague of the Theobald Support Team, root causes as well as proposals for solutions can be submitted.
